Cuban Theater Digital Archive: Graphic Design - Website Style Guide
(Miami, FL) The Cuban Theater Digital Archive (CTDA) seeks a creative, collaborative designer to produce a logo and graphic elements for a bilingual (English and Spanish) website. The CTDA is a web resource for teaching, learning, and research in Cuban theater and performance as well as in related fields; a community repository for important Cuban theatrical materials; and a forum to foster scholarly communication in this field. The Digital Archive includes materials digitized and filmed in Cuba as well as resources and information related to Cuban theater outside the island, with a special focus on theater produced by the Cuban communities in the United States. We seek a contemporary look and feel appropriate for a website profiling contemporary Cuban theater on the island and in the United States. We are in the process of rebuilding the content management system behind the current CTDA site, and are seeking a cleaner, more modern design. Please browse our images of proposed navigation mockups of the new site. We are also hoping for the new site's design to be used as part of a "responsive" layout, which will need to work at a variety of screen widths from mobile phones (roughly 320px wide) up to widescreen desktop monitors (1200px wide and up), and everything in between. You must be able to plan your design as a series of modular elements that can be re-arranged or scaled to work at different screen widths while remaining legible and usable. For full details, please visit http://cubantheater.org/rfp.html. Please read the RFP (link is in the job description) for full details. Send a link to your portfolio (or links to sites you have worked on) and a statement of interest. Published: 166 days ago. |
