Role:

The Whale Shark Media technology team is an experienced group of engineers and creative designers focused on optimizing our consumer-facing Internet properties. We select the appropriate technology for the challenges and business opportunities presented to our company.  Our resulting technical stack has been architected for speed, redundancy and scalability from its inception.  If you are a talented mobile software engineer with solid fundamentals in object-oriented methodology and are looking for exposure to new technologies such as .Net MVC, NoSQL data storage, cloud hosting, and applied design patterns, please get in touch.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years professional development experience
• 2-3 years professional development experience for Android
• Strong understanding of the Java language and the Android Stack
• HTML 5 and/or WebKIT Development a plus
• Experience with Data Storage, Views, Notifications, Processes, and Intents
• Consumer facing released application with strong adoption is a must
• Object oriented design and implementation fundamentals
• Exposure to a distributed network architecture
