Company Overview:

We’re an MIT-based team who has built a consumer facing website that helps guys buy clothing online – and look great – with minimal effort.  Our team of technical, business, and industry experts is working to provide THE online personalized experience for men’s clothing.  We’ve raised outside investment and our public launch is targeted for late summer.

Job Overview:

We’re seeking a contractor - to - perm Rails developer with 3-6 years of development experience to help us guide product roadmap, build new features and scale product.  We want a developer who is willing to lead product development, take ownership of ideas, and make executive technical decisions.

Ideal technical experience includes:

- Previous Rails 3 projects

- HTML, CSS

- jQuery, JavaScript, MySQL, and Git

- Working knowledge of Linux command line

Bonus desirable skills:

- Familiarity interacting with third-party websites both via APIs and web scraping

- Experience with offline data computation

- Algorithm development

Location:

We have a physical presence in Chicago, but will consider remote collaboration.
