We’re looking for a freelance interactive designer to join our in-house marketing team.

PhotoShelter is one of the fastest growing brands in the photo industry. We make powerful portfolio websites and help serious photographers gain exposure, distribute, and sell their work online. We're an energetic and highly motivated team of 16 people - we work hard to meet our goals but we always have some fun while we're at it.

The designer will be joining our smart, forward-thinking, 5 person marketing team to create the visuals for our online and print material. Working with a variety of mediums, the designer should be able to come up with strong design solutions while staying true to our brand.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Email Design: Layout and design of monthly marketing emails and monthly newsletters in CSS and HTML.

• Web Design: Layout / design / improvement of landing pages on the company’s existing website.

• Online Advertising: Design of advertising collateral for creative and timely marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including search engines, social media platforms, affiliate networks, and direct banner ad partners.

• Content Marketing: Layout and design of our downloadable PDF business guides.

• Print Advertising: Design of ads, promo cards and other printed collateral for events throughout the year.

TIME REQUIREMENTS

Approximately 3 days of on-site working time in our Union Square office per week. The weekly schedule is flexible based upon project deadlines.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 2+ years of post-graduate design experience with an emphasis on web 2.0 design
• Proficiency in CSS 3.0 and HTML 4/5
• Proficiency in Adobe CS (mostly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
