A typical day with us might find you:

• Taking part in a 15-minute scrum to sync up goals and communicate needs across the entire team.
• Creating wireframes for amazing user experiences that you'll do rapid refinement on with team and client feedback.
• Working closely with your development team to understand limitations, timelines, and adjust accordingly.
• Cutting a completed Photoshop design into XHTML and CSS and handing it off to your development team member for implementation.
• Writing "on brand" content for all aspects of the signup process for a new web application, then handing it off for polish to a Communications teammate.
• Using screensharing and a Skype call to present initial wireframes for a hot new app to the Creative Director and getting feedback for a second round.
• Sketching up branding elements based on creative discovery for a great cause who needs it badly.

You'll need these skills to pay the bills:

• Tons of expertise and demonstrable experience with CSS/XHTML and an ability to produce W3C standards-compliant code.
• Expert-level knowledge of design applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or other tools of the trade.
• Demonstrable experience in information architecting that shows your ability to make key decisions that will effect user experience from the start of any project.
• Solid foundation in web application and mobile user interface design.
• A mind that loves considering branding and marketing implications, not just pixel-pushin'.
