Minds On Design Lab is looking for a contract PHP web developer for an initial steady freelance relationship with strong potential to become permanent. We are hoping for a candidate located in New York City and able to work and meet onsite; however, working virtually is possible.

Required Skills:

We are looking for a skilled PHP developer (3+ years) with front end savvy.

• PHP - MVC Frameworks, OOP
• MySQL - Database design, complex queries, query optimization
• CSS, HTML - valid XHTML, HTML5, CSS Level 2 & 3
• Javascript - JQuery
• Lifelong Learner - Loves to learn, grow, and improve and must know what she/he needs to do to learn best

Desirable Skills and Interests:

• Photoshop - Can work with Photoshop files to slice and prepare graphical assets for site themes/templates.
• SVN/GIT - Experience with version control use and workflows
• CMS Development - Experience with ExpressionEngine and/or Drupal theming and module development.
• Facebook Application Development
• API - JSON/XML Consumption 
• Ruby on Rails
