 As a Web Designer, you will wireframe, design and build a web product suite using the proven marketing principles at Royall & Company. You will work closely with copywriters, art directors, account managers, and product managers. You will translate marketing and creative direction into persuasive, effective designs, layouts, and development needs for our many clients in higher education. 

• Product Design of micro sites, web pages, and graphic emails for marketing campaigns.
• Provide creative design solutions based on proven, persuasive marketing principles and direction from the creative leaders and marketing group.
• Mastery of core graphic design principles (typography, form, color, composition, imagery, etc.).
• Creation of product templates using standards-based HTML and CSS that work across all platforms and modern browsers.
• Collaboration with team art directors, and copywriters.
• Create flowcharts, wireframes, and design documents to illustrate the user experience.
• Translate designs into development needs and requirements.
• Identify internal tools needed to develop products. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, web design, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years professional experience implementing Web design
• Expertise with wireframing software and prototyping techniques.
• Expertise in designing websites using Adobe Photoshop
• Expertise with hand-coded XHTML and CSS
• Remains current on creative trends in our industry as well as the latest techniques/technologies that help drive cutting-edge creative
• Expertise in cross-platform and cross-browser development experience
• Experience with CMS solutions such as Expression Engine or Wordpress
• Proactive problem-solver and quick thinker
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Experience with with a scripting language such as PHP or CFML is a plus.
