 Job Description:

As a Web Designer you will be part of an Interactive Media Team comprising of Usability Specialist, Information Architects, Web Designers, and Web and Mobile Developers. You will be responsible for designing front end interfaces for websites and mobile sites and apps.  This position is located at ICF Headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia and will require interfacing with clients, subject matter experts and IT staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and construct web pages/sites including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques
• Design for Social Media Platforms
• Design for Mobile sites and apps
• Maintain and provide ongoing design support
• Engage with Internal and External Clients
• Produce Creative Briefs
• Engage with other disciplines within the Interactive Media Group

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a Graphic Design or related field
• 2+ years of experience in web design or a related area
• 2 + years of experience designing for 508 compliant websites
• 2 + years of experience with social media platforms
• 2 + years of experience with User-Centered Design Approach

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Understanding of the following concepts fluently: Responsive Web Design, CSS3, and Progressive Enhancement
• Understanding of Web and Mobile Usability and Information Architecture
• Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ability to assist in production of wireframes
• Ability to code CSS3
